The goal of this group is to create a safe place to find community, support, understanding, and hope for those struggling with eating issues. It is open to all ages, genders, and types of eating issues. This is not a structured group, rather it is open for sharing, asking questions, offering support, or just listening. EDA Group - Palo Alto
EDA (Eating Disorders Anonymous) is a fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength and hope in order to help others to recover from their eating disorders. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover.

EDRC Body Image & Eating Disorders Support Group - Mountain View
Come join this support group and get control of your body image and fear about eating. Groups are confidential and led by a trained facilitator in a comfortable format where members can gain group support, learn new coping skills, and learn about local resources.  This group is run in the same format as the group in Los Gatos but not open to family and friends due to member request.

Come join this support group to get control of your body image and fear about eating. Groups are confidential and led by a trained facilitator in a comfortable format where members can gain group support, learn new coping skills, and learn about local resources.

FA, Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous
FA is a 12-step program of recovery for anyone who suffers from overeating, under eating, bulimia, or obsession with food, weight, or body size. There are no dues or fees, and meetings are open to anyone who wants to stop eating addictively.

OA, Overeaters Anonymous
OA offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the 12-steps. Meetings provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions.

Dr. Tonja Krautter Teen Groups
Dr. Krautter's groups meet once per week and are 60 minutes in length.  Both male, female, and co-ed groups are offered, and topics vary according to member needs.  Group Intake is required prior to the start of group therapy.

The Lotus Collaborative Family & Supporters Group - Santa Cruz
Led by an eating disorder specialist, this free support group is designed to allow parents, husbands, wives, siblings, roommates or other family members to meet each other, recognize common struggles, and learn new ways to cope with a life affected by an eating disorder. Group runs parallel to the Eating Disorders Support Group.

Mindful Eating Group

Groups are led by Laura Johnson, LMFT and Director of the Cognitive Behavior Therapy Center of Silicon Valley.  The 24-week program focuses on CBT and DBT skills training for individuals with anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders.

This group helps overweight children ages 8-15 and their families develop lifelong healthy habits.
