EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Had some training at Stanford Eating Disorder Clinic and worked at their satellite clinic at Dominican Hospital. I have done individual nutrition counseling for over 10 years now.

 

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I feel it is very important that my patients regain their nutritional status for optimal health. I work with the patient, at their pace. I work closely with their physician and therapist so we are all on the same page. I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder. When a person is in recovery, they have a positive relationship to food and exercise. They trust themselves to eat when they are hungry and have learned to eat intuitively.
