EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: BS in Human Nutrition MS in Nutrition Over 25 years as a registered dietitian specializing in modifying eating behavior to promote health in pediatric, adolescent, young adults and older adults.
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: Team approach with the client/patient as the person who facilitates the direction of the treatment plan. I negotiate with the client/patient to make changes within the comfort zone of meeting goals and within a safe environment. I feel you can recover from an eating disorder and I define recovery as: As with many chronic conditions, clients/patients may experience periods of remission or optimal eating behaviors, but in some cases a "trigger" may create a cascade of undesirable eating and/or exercise behaviors.
