TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I work with stressed moms and dads to be the parents they always wanted to be. I work with their kids and teens as they move into healthier choices. I work with individuals in emotional pain in relationships. I also work with people who others say have issues with food. We work together towards solutions.
I think it is possible to recover from an eating disorder and define recovery as living a healthy lifestyle with 3 meals and 2 snacks daily, plus moderate exercise, seeing a therapist weekly, taking meds as prescribed, attending family therapy as needed, with a solid family and friend support network. Able to meet personal goals of career, family and health, with an enriching quality of life.
