EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE At Center for Hope of the Sierras, we offer residential, partial-hospitalization and NEW intensive outpatient programs to women and adolescents for the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating and related disorders. Set in two beautiful Victorian style homes, the Center for Hope provides a welcoming and supportive environment for recovery where highly individualized treatment is the standard. Each patient is exposed to a variety of individual, group and family therapies designed to promote self-care, self-respect, and long-term healing and recovery from their eating disorder.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY At CHS we use a holistic approach to recovery and highly individualized treatment is the standard. We incorporate Intuitive Eating, DBT, CBT, EMDR, Exposure Therapy, Equine Therapy, Anxiety Management, Mindful Movement, Yoga, Massage, Art Therapy and more.

I do think it’s possible to recover from at eating disorder. I define recovery as: We believe that each patient will continue to grow and heal after they leave our doors. Continued recovery & aftercare often depends on where you live, who you have relationships with, and what meaningful activities you engage in. It is our goal to prepare each individual for a smooth transition back to daily life and provide them with the skills necessary for long term recovery.
