CREDENTIALS/DISCIPLINE: New Dawn Treatment Centers offers highly structured and medically supervised programs for anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and other related eating disorders in Residential, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient settings for adolescent and adult males and females 15 years of age and up.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERTISE: Our experienced team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, MFT’s, LCSW’s, Registered Nurses, and Dietitians are carefully chosen for their ability to provide the most clinically excellent care in a way that is nurturing, respectful and empowering for our patients and their families
TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: New Dawn Treatment Centers understands that a patient’s best chance at achieving recovery and wellness occurs when the treatment experience is collaborative and client-focused. We also believe that a combination of therapy modalities each contribute to give our patients relief from their struggles, and the strength and tools to begin their new path towards recovery. These modalities include Body Image movement, Body and Soul groups, Yoga and daily Mindfulness walks to restore a positive relationship with the body, evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family and relationship counseling, as well as more Holistic treatment modalities such as Meditation, Equine-Assisted therapy, Expressive Arts, Acupuncture and Creative Writing exercises. We also offer Relapse Prevention and Lifetime Continuing Care for all of our graduates so that support is always available.

This includes: Living without obsessing on food, weight, and body image; honesty, self-care, adn authenticity; building a kinder relationship with yourself in which you do not abuse yourself with eating disorder behaviros; challenging cognitive distortions; being more imperfect and less perfectionist; conncting with a support system; developing a balanced relationship with food and feelings; speaking your truth, even when it is uncomfortable; regaining your power; becoming the person you truly are, rather than the eating disorder that you have become.
